Wouldn’t be surprised if the panthers pick is only 3. Giants offense is truly abysmal and they have a tough schedule, and the cardinals also have a really brutal remaining set of games. Panthers comparatively have a pretty decent schedule.

For the fans that want MHJ, the third pick is the spot. One of the top two picks almost guarantees a new QB for the bears.

If Chicago gets the #1 or #2, do you see a possibility of moving Fields and their own top 5 for the 2 and 3 ( Maye + MHJ)?

I don’t think Fields has much value. If he continues to play like he has (super hot and cold) maybe somebody gets suckered out of a third.

If he plays well enough to be worth a good trade, he’s good enough for the bears to keep.

If the Panthers and Giants finish with the same record, it will come down to strength of schedule–the team that had the weaker schedule will get the better draft pick.

For the rest of the season I’ll be rooting against the other teams in the NFC South and rooting for all the teams in the NFC East.

Need the Pats and Giants to out ass the panthers and cards so we can draft MHJ at 3

Felt like the Bears needed so many things to go their way to get the pick while Houston just needed to finish the season and baring a miracle they’d have it. I think that’s Giants and Panthers this season with Giants as Houston. Seems likely the Panthers win 1 and Giants lose out

I still think the bears have a chance of sliding out of top 2 and keeping fields…

If they are 1 or 2 then Fields is out… But i think they keep him over QB3.

Thought it was interesting that article didn’t mention the fact that if the panthers tied with the giants, the panthers would still get the first pick with the strength of schedule tie breaker. One more win from the panthers and no wins from the giants, worst case scenario, seems very realistic for the panthers finishing with the number 1 pick.

Same goes for the Patriots. Panthers would have to win two more games than NE/NY and they play each other. We have a great chance at the #1.

They might even drop further. They have one of the hardest SOS in the league so they drop behind almost every tie breaker. I see at least 2 more wins for them.

For as much as people are arguing about Williams vs. Harrison, Maye vs. Harrison is probably a more realistic scenario. I actually don’t know who I would want in that case.

I would draft the player that actually brings life to the word “generational” in MHJ

How do you not know who you would want? QB is everything in this league, MHJ is worthless if you don’t have someone great throwing him the ball.

I agree, but that only matters if the QB is actually good. If you’re not confident in Maye, then taking a later round QB to go with MHJ would make more sense.

There shouldn’t be an argument between Maye and Harrison, in that scenario you take Harrison and either roll with Fields or take a QB with the second pick

As long as the Cards don’t finish worse than us every team in front of them will need a QB.

Giants aren’t taking MHJ over OL imo either.

Maye/MHJ at 2/5 is not unrealistic.
