Yea man, that’s where they came from and where they are at. Anyone with two eyes should be able to see that Fields is clearly the better and more talented QB. They should also see that he hasn’t been good enough either.
I don’t know if he’s the better QB right now. I actually think Bagent does a better job getting the offense into a rhythm. But Fields clearly has a much MUCH higher ceiling than Bagent does. Fields biggest issue since he came into the league was hitting the layup throws. He hasn’t made much progress in that area so far. I also think that the Bears offense is still lacking another legitimate playmaker. You have to have at least two on your team or you’re not going anywhere. We have one.
Comparing third year Fields from Ohio State to first 4 games Bagent making the jump from D2.

The Fields v. Bagent nonsense is so tiresome.

Bears PPG in Fields full games: 23; Bagent: 19
Total offensive YPG in Fields full games: 334.4; Bagent: 320.3
Third down conversion pct in Fields full games: 40%; Bagent: 48.1%
There might be a slightly better “rhythm” but it’s a worse offense overall.
