For on-air meteorologists, the anti-science trend that has emerged in recent years compounds a deepening skepticism of the news media.

    This kind of behavior needs to be clearly established as illegal and those laws need to be acted on. We’ve reached a point where all kinds of ordinary people are having their lives threatened over simply describing the world as it is. That has to stop.
