I miss Allie Brosh. Though she eventually released some books, she was never really comfortable with the fame her blog & cartoons brought her. She suffered with bipolar disorder. She released her angst through distance running. She’s passionate about logic & proper spelling & grammar.
She suffers from severe depression and ADHD, but I don’t think she has bipolar disorder. Her sister died due to bipolar disorder, which might be what you’re thinking of.
She is, apparently, still on Reddit occasionally. I saw a post from a few days ago in which someone was saying that she’s working on a new book (no idea if that is true or not).
Aye, thanks for better facts.
I haven’t kept up, is she still around? I think last I heard Allie and her long time partner split.
Had me curious so I looked it up. Most recent I could find is that she released a book in 2020, and she appears to be semi-active on Instagram, with her most recent post being a few weeks ago, and apparently making an appearance at a premiere for a movie from The Oatmeal as of 5 days ago.
I like Alot memes a lot. What a delight to bump into one just like that.
Allie Brosh is an absolute treasure to internet comics. Everyone go buy her books if you haven’t yet.
Alots are underappreciated a lot, so thank you.
*a lot. Buy a dictionary since you lack an education.
You missed the joke. You lack meme education.
That user seems to spend most of their time on Lemmy “correcting” people’s spelling, including correctly spelt words that Americans spell differently. So, they’re either a troll or just insufferable.

What exactly did you think the brown monster was called?
