LPT: if you ever get wasps in your house you can use the extension hose on your vacuum cleaner to suck them up. The hose extension means you don’t have to get close to them.
(I’m fine with them outside as long as they don’t nest on my balcony, but inside is a problem.)
Also opposed to flies wasp are in my experience actually smart enough to leave through the window they came in on their own, so evacuating the room and coming back some time later also works(as long a you don’t need anything in the room ofc)

flies scare me because of the horrible noise they make, bees scare me because of the noise and the fact that they can sting, hornets, well …

General rule: don’t attack them, and they won’t attack you. If they get very close to you, you can move away, but avoid touching them. I’ve heard someone say wasps don’t forget who attacked them.
