    Is this the future of the internet? Bots selling ads to other bots so bots can profit from it?

    How many people are having entire conversations with ChatGPT thinking they are talking with another human being? Will we be able to distinguish who is human and who is not?

      One day, possibly. But take solace in knowing humans are pretty good at pattern recognition. The technology evolves, yes, but it also has to compete with the human brain’s ability to adapt and see the cracks.

      The first few times you read ChatGPT pablum, you may not recognize it. But the more you do, the more obvious tells you learn to spot.

        Honestly yeah, in a way we self innoculate because the popular r/bing posts are how it’s comically blind to certain human ways of thinking like counting letters in words.

        As soon as they advance that, it’ll only be a matter of time until another tell is revealed and made viral.
