I get what you’re saying, but it is hard to regulate stuff before it actually becomes a prevalent issue. If we did, we would have laws that would soon be outdated and our legal code would be uneccessarily verbose, making it hard to apply it.
I mean I thought fake testimonials were already illegal and I also thought that being paid to make a testimonial and doing so without disclosing that you were paid was illegal with things that I’ve seen by youtubers and what not which is why I am confused by this being new.
Why wasn’t this already a law is my only confusion with this…
