Finally a vehicle that captures the full essence of policing:
-Doesn’t do the job it’s supposed to
-Boasts that it is strong and can handle any situation but stops functioning at the slightest challenge to its abilities
-Supposed to be very safe, is actually incredibly dangerous
-Claims to be the toughest/bravest/most groundbreaking out of all its competition, but is actually one of the worst amongst competitors
-Poorly designed and equipped to do the job expected of it
-Very few people actually feel safe around it
-Extremely high budget item that does very little
I do wonder how long that battery will last if they have it on all day to keep perfect internal temp
Good, then I know they’ll be ticketing people where there’s electric car parking.
HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I’VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT FOR YOU. HATE. HATE.
Hey you jogged my memory. Is this from “i have no moth but i must scream?”
All my moths gone
yes
Me lamenting no moth gf
Critical support to Tesla in their plans of sabotaging police
Hell, maybe the cars will take off a few officers’ hands in the process
This is a good thing. Giving the police a car that doesn’t work is a kind of police abolition. The only problem is that the doors might kill suspects
The only issue is that they will just buy another car as well, wasting more tax payer money.
wasting more tax payer money.
don’t give a shit
“taxpayers” is social fascist rhetoric that we should excise
Taxpayer money AKA money stolen from the working class in the first place
money is fake (for the government anyhow). We don’t need to do “fiscal responsibility” rhetoric, it only works against us, and emphasizing “taxpayer” delegitimizes the contributions of the disabled, destitute, and those doing unpaid but societally necessary labor
Money is as real as people agree on it being which currently is very real.
“Money isn’t real” is rhetorically correct but that rhetoric can’t be exchanged for food.
Also wasting less money buying tanks for police and other countries should absolutely be a goal. We could have universal Healthcare and zero homelessness if taxes were actually applied for the benefit of society.
social democracy isn’t a great goal, and while it’d certainly be a huge improvement that I’d support, that doesn’t mean I’m going to use its more unsavory rhetoric.
Seems like a pretty good goal for a starting vector unless somebody has an idea how we go from the latest stages of capitalism to a moneyless society without an intermediate phase.
And I’m not sure “disliking the fact 40% of your paycheck goes to your own oppression is bad” is a great starting point
Money spent in internal US military is money not spent in external US military
Full support, give all cops shitty cars that will probably kill them
They are more likely to kill other people with this piece of shit than themselves
they were more likely to kill you anyways because they are cops
100% in support of cops blowing their budget on these broken-ass pieces of shit
I was going to say I’m all for the cops using a vehicle so unreliable a software update could bring a police chase to a screeching halt.
Cops crashing and the lack of crumple points liquefies them.
The downside is that they’re going to ask for a 100% budget increase to replace the existing fleet.
for use from here to Mars
Good idea! I can definitely get behind blasting cops in cybertrucks into space
I hope some cop gets their hand chopped off.
This is actually good, these things will put them in danger
will only work to run over protesters
Nah it can’t off road that much
Much like the police, they’re good at hitting minorities.
Can’t wait for a cop to get in a high speed chase with another cybertruck and when they crash this happens:
(CW: gore, spoilers for the Sci-Fi series “The Expanse”) https://youtu.be/JS7x4Bq_gR8
I, for one, appreciate them making it easier to disable police cars.
This is the worst thing I’ve seen in at least 8 minutes.
Do these still rust if it rains on them 🤔
and short out when they go through a large puddle
they also short out when it rains because the seal under the front windshield is not good at doing the one thing its designed to do so the water pours into the electronics behind the frunk
