If anything, Oct 7 is a new hallmark in morality. Every day after has to measure itself against such a height.

LOL that’s what it is isn’t it. We should be spending the war money on the war against the poor in the US so cozy rich people can feel cozier and not have to see homeless people.

Genocide is fine if it can be done for free, like in Sudan.

guy did a whole antisemitic set with kanye apologia in an SNL intro, platforms antisemite elon during his shows, and now urges other people to fight something he has contributed to

Kind of like how he was talking about an anti-trans law and when audience members started cheering he told them not to because its a bad law. He wants to have his cake and eat it too.

He regularly supports antisemitic conspiracy theories (most notably stuff about Soros and the “Great Replacement”) on his website while also parroting the bad-faith accusations of antisemitism against pro-Palestinian activists (and he has also made a trip to Israel to rehabilitate his image aided by several pro-Israel figures).

he said something about jews once on twitter… then booked a flight to the wailing wall and wore a yarmulke and started banning anyone who said anything on twitter about Israel overnight

idk, Israel literally wanted that shit to happen so they could justify their genocide. it was an intentionally manufactured Reichstag fire moment

They may have wanted a justification for escalation, but they didn’t get it nor did they need it. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was “manufactured” and every fighter was a puppet.

This is broadly my reaction. When it happened, I was ranting that any Israeli official who’s acting surprised or shocked is a fucking liar because they’ve spent an incredible amount of effort over decades making sure that such an attack was absolutely inevitable. Send “settlers” out as a vanguard, focus your military might on rocket defense, then sit back and let your victims either attack or die. What else could possibly happen?

The only variables were the form the attack would take and how long the Palestinian people were willing to either waste away quietly or get sniped while staging peaceful protests

        Yes.

        tldr part

He still sucks don’t get that part twisted, but he’s a popular voice that has a wide audience and he’s calling the genocide a genocide, which can overall help BDS and other pro Palestinian causes because many celebrities are either Zionist or afraid of ruining their career by speaking out. His position of running his entire career on the false narrative of “I’m being silenced” makes it harder to shut him up. For both better and worse.

Remember, outside of leftist spaces, where the grass grows, and most people live, the legitimacy of 10/7 isn’t even on the radar as whether or not the genocide is even a genocide is still intensely controversial and people who simply state it is get silenced.

However yes with the company he keeps if he gets too pally pally with Musk and Ye he can fuck that up easily
