    I thought the first season was okay. Second season was pretty decent. Third season I couldn’t take it anymore.

    My perception was that every episode was written to give a character opportunity to give soap-boxy monologue about whatever social justice warrior topic was in the news a few months prior.

    I’m very leftist already, but holy shit people. I get it, the writers saw opportunity to speak out a bit.

    I also know that not everything has to be written for me. I’m glad that there is more diversity in the ST universe and that the show is connecting with new demographics.

    All in all, I’m glad it exists and that people do enjoy it, even if I’m no longer one of those people.

      It’s the combination of crying, constantly breaking the rules, and Super Michael saves the day that gets to me. Saying that, I like the series though. In between the faults, there’s a decent sci fi show.
