    It’s been a while, but I couldn’t make it through the first season. I just didn’t like it. It was a boring show with dumb tech and a very uninteresting plot.

    And it had nothing to do with gender/sexuality/ethnicity or whatever of the main protagonist. To suggest otherwise without any argument to back up that claim is inflammatory at best, dishonest at worst.

    It’s cool if people like it, we all have different tastes.

    Also what was the point of this post? Did you really expect people to come to a Trek community and announce that they’re a bigot?

      It is a well known fact that white people have a racial bias against black people either conscious or unconscious due to the way that our society is structured.

      Sure, it’ll get you inflamated if you are so fragile to not be able to discuss racial bias in the media. Just see what happened with the little mermaid. We should all keep quiet about race base discussion in the media not to get people like you inflamated, right?

      I expected people to have an honest discussion about racial bias in the media and how it reflects on the liking or disliking of Discovery.

      Your fragility is unreal!
