They obviously aren’t counting National Guard, but I’m only familiar with 3 in AZ (where I was raised), which make me think they’re tracking some “not full base” places as military bases.
According to MilitaryBases.com there’s on 7. My knee jerk reaction is to call most “not real bases” but it does look like the ones listed by MilitaryBases.com do have full facilities and such.
