The worst part of Warframe is host migration.
I actually like spy missions. I can deal with unfun game mechanics and my own dumb inability to deal with them (e.g. losing a defense target to a toxin eximus because I wasn’t paying enough attention). What really bugs me is when I lose progress because the games lack of checkpointing and awkward net code causes me to lose an hour of progress.
Only pictures of John Oliver as a Warframe?
While it’s a bit jankier, WFInfo relies on screenshots, and thus does not run afoul of the Warframe ToS. DE don’t endorse it, but have publicly said they won’t ban you for it: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/875096-wfinfo-in-game-ducats-and-platinum-prices/?tab=comments#comment-9176107)
Not being into cosmetics, I’m not even sure I’d buy at 75%. I’ve never seen one in 300 login days. It takes about 20 minutes to farm enough plat to buy a potato or some forma, and honestly that’s about all I buy these days.
I should probably figure out a way to kick DE a few bucks. I did buy plat once at 50% off to get myself off the ground.
I don’t think I’m going back to reddit much without a 3rd party app (and I’m not paying to use one), but at the same time, I agree about Lemmy. The web app is pretty buggy, and really not good on mobile web. For example I had to reload the page for the reply button to respond to this comment on desktop, and on several occasions I click on a random post on the mobile page and it’s brought me to some kind of editing page rather than loading the post to reply.
That said, of the official forums, reddit, and lemmy, lemmy is the least bad right now and seems like it has the best future. It at least has 3rd party app support on mobile, and isn’t actively trying to sabotage its mobile web experience even if it needs work.
From what I remember, the angel won’t move if you silence the weapon and use an invisible frame like Loki or Ivara, so you can just shoot its unmoving head until you complete the challenge.
Honestly I’d hold on to most of it until you get a feel for the game. Spend a bit of it on slots (though you can sell most of the early weapons once you master them, they aren’t that good), and once you start getting weapons and frames you like orokin catalysts / orokin reactors. Then, once you know what you hate doing, spend it to avoid doing that thing to farm something.
If you want to splurge on something early, buy the prime version of a frame you like (or like the look of) off of http://warframe.market. Prime frames honestly aren’t that much better than the regular versions, but they’re tradeable, and being the best version of what they are it’s easy to justify investing forma and orokin reactors in them. Note that you’ll still have to build the frame, so make sure you have or can get the materials required for the blueprint.
The other advantage of using loadouts like this is that you can change them directly from the nav screen.
It’s worth mentioning that the poe fandom wiki still ranks higher on Google for most queries than poewiki.net, even though the fandom wiki is an unmaintained ad riddled mess. The new developer supported wiki is nice, but since fandom refuse to take down the old wiki there’s a lot of outdated info that ranks highly in search results.
Baruuk is pretty much my favorite frame to play in Circuit. Add in all the melee buffs and it’s just gigantic red crits everywhere at ludicrous speeds.
Any updates?
