jesus christ, 4 FG’s really? is this the lowest scoring game this year?
worst MNF ever played?
even if i don’t use it all the time, it just feels like sacrilege to move it. i’ve always had phone and text next to each other and camera on the right. and usually a browser in between.
taking the phone icon out just feels super weird.
yeah prob no notch, and for sure no notch on the laptop. like i understand the notch on the iphone. but why the fuck does a laptop that doesn’t even have FaceID need a notch?
probably wouldn’t be quite as big
i message, airdrop, ease of use with apple wallet. and just the fact that most apps come the iphone first, and the seamless integration with other apple products.
man, even google keyboard on ios sucks, but not quite as bad as the stock keyboard. god damn i miss android so much. next year can’t come soon enough, when apple joines the rest of the world with RCS and can send high quality media over SMS
i wouldn’t say i’m obsessed, but ever since i heard out taylor heinke’s story and that he grew up really close to where i’m from, i’ve been a big fan no matter what team he was on. when he came to the falcons i was pretty stoked. sucks to see him kinda blow it last game, i hope he gets another chance. seems like a standup guy, i’d love have a beer with.
yeah, i’m kinda intrigued…i’ve really been wanting to buy an android phone. i really prefer it, but i need imessage. i wish apple would just make imessage a paid app for android. they could make a shitload of money. just charge like 1 or 2 bucks/mo and pretty much everybody would pay for it, as long as they have friends/family members with iphones.
but i noticed how vastly different the market share is in europe where people use whatsapp primarily and aren’t locked into the apple ecosystem like they are in the US where we use SMS,. i’m sure apple has done the math and figures they can make more profit by keeping imessage an apple exclusive service, rather than opening it up even as a paid service.
i REALLY hope that Gen Z gets mad about apple’s monopoly of messaging in america and decides they wanna use whatsapp, or signal, or literally any other messaging service. i really wanna go back to android. it sucks being locked into using an iphone JUST because everyone i know uses imessage and i wanna be able to send high quality photos and text/call easily. outside the country. i wish apple played better with android. but nooooo they have to be super exclusive.
I had a Galaxy s10e, the smaller version of the s10 a few years ago, and it was a flagship phone at the time, i loved it. still have it as a backup phone. i dunno how many times dipshits with an iphone 6 or some cracked up pos iphone whatever would act like my s10 was shitty just because it was android. but they were literally using a 4yr old phone that had the front and back glass cracked. that blue message makes people feel like they’re fuckin royalty or something.
so you wouldn’t make fun of someone for using one of these phones?
it’s real. just because you don’t experience it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.
i don’t understand why this topic is so taboo in this sub. is everyone in this sub outside the US?
because in the US, if you don’t have iMessage you’re looked down upon. period.
i spent the last 3 weeks in europe and it was refreshing to see most people using a variety of android phones, i even saw some galaxy folds. i would love to live in a country where i could buy a phone from one of 10-15 diff companies that has diff features and be treated the same as anyone else with an iphone.
but in the US, i’ve never seen a folding phone anywhere in public. cause imessage is THAT important.
who makes the most minimal? im thinking bout getting the 15 Pro and i’m coming from a mini, i want it as small as possible.
how much is cousins asking for next year? if the vikings could get him to play on a team friendly deal, seems like their best option. i dunno much about cousins, but he’s been there a LONG time and i’m guessing he wouldn’t mind retiring there. he prob has at least 1 or 2 good years left in him when he comes back from injury. keep jefferson, continue building around cousins, pick a good RB, and maybe pick up a later round QB too to learn behind cousins. I feel like having a rookie sit behind a good starter for a year or 2 has been completely abandoned by the NFL, except for the packers. i mean Love didn’t look great when he was drafted, but he seems to be playing a lot better now.
anyway, with cousins and a lil more help, the vikings could go to the playoffs next season. but i’m not sure y’all are a SB team with cousins. prob get bounced by SF or Eagles in the playoffs. but who fuckin knows, when you get to the playoffs every team needs a lil bit of luck.
