This ref crew is not gonna work the Super Bowl lol

Hahahahaha Mahomes throws a pick and then Nagy pops into the frame like Emperor Palpatine
Watching Jordan Love tonight, it’s clear that all of my opinions about the Bears are correct, especially the unpopular ones.
Seems like a pretty good schedule. I see four really tough games with DETx2, JAX, SF, and the rest are winnable if we improve this offseason (though obviously if we have a rookie QB that likely means another year below .500)
This is the only world in which I can imagine being OK with Eberflus staying. I can’t imagine he’d pull off #3 well, but if he somehow had some great plan then maybe.
But even then I think Eberflus might have to go because you’re ideally making at least a 2-year commitment to him with your new QB, and are you really ever comfortable doing that?
I’m developing a Take, which is that a lot of times when the screens fail it seems to be because Mooney missed a block
Reddit comment threads: now in audio form!
Hospital ball, oof. Hope Mooney’s OK
Man going for that was an aggro call but nice play by the offense
Average length of throw under 2 yards, you say? Must have been very boring QB play
Great play by Sweat, Billings did a hell of a job getting through the middle too
Looks like Fields is back to off-script mode, no idea how well it’ll go but at least it’ll be good TV
That Amazon commercial totally ripped off Citizen Kane
Tonight’s goal is whatever happens, to not let it bother me
What’s come out about his trade market? I haven’t heard anything about it
A lot of those games were mostly not his fault, and I think the backups often played some of the easier games, but 6-26 is pretty striking
“Why does the announcer keep talking about one of the best 3 players in the league?” Hmm I wonder
The plays that look like chokeholds are usually not actually holding. You get to that position usually when the pass rusher does a rip move, which basically pushes the O-lineman’s arm up into a position where they have to either disengage or wrap their arm around the pass rusher. There’s an exception in the rulebook for those plays.
Well, on the plus side, if we beat the Packers on week 18 it means we’re better than the Chiefs by the transitive property
