honestly, wouldn’t be surprised if lots of the fanbase wants to see them miss the playoffs.

there is a glaring omission from their “team needs” list. like, one Quick look should make it oBvious what’s missing here.
“an mvp level season” is a stretch.
how many mvp’s have 13 ints through 12 games (alongside 4 fumbles).
it’s more like a “hall of very good” candidate of a season.
and adding a game to…Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. But not Saturday.
Isn’t the saturday thing college football related (and why saturday games start after the college season ends?)
Additionally, tuesday/Wednesday are outliers and only happened when extenuating circumstances caused a sunday/monday game to be postponed.

i’m not sure if those stats have “minimum games played” qualifiers like how many stats have “minimum 10 attempts”. (he’s averaging well below 1 game a year)
george blanda has the most seasons played at 26, so this would be longer than that.
sure he’s 54, but we could use some upgrades on our o-line.
this is going to make rogers look bad by setting unrealistic expectations for him.
by the time he CAN play, the jets will be out of playoff contention (either officially, or unofficially) so there will be no reason for him to play while saleh’s just saying “if he wants to he could”.
he tore his achilles in week 1. there’s no reasonable expectation for him to play despite saleh trying to paint one.

the crazy part is that nothing on there looks unthinkable except the loss to the panthers.
part of the problem is that all teams are guaranteed prime time games. that means you can either have a good team murdering a bad team during 2 bad games, or you can have 2 bad teams play each other in 1 game so you can have a meaningful matchup another week.
i forget the year, but tannehill’s class had a really good start. (tannehill, luck, russel wilson, and pretty sure there was a 4th big name qb i’m forgetting, but i might just be thinking mariotta who was a bust)
completely agree. he is by far the most important pickup we’ve had since ricky williams.
it’s not just that he’s so good, it’s that what he does has such an impact on defensive coverages that it makes it easier for waddle (who is already awesome on his own) to get open. (never mind guys further down the progression like cracraft when healthy)
oh, and he’s willing to take it out of the backfield from time to time too.
