Samsung totally ignores their low end phones. In fact, if you’re on Android, expect one, maybe two OS updates in your phone’s lifetime before you have to replace it.
It’s great.
Hey I was agreeing with you, no need to send me benchmarks.
I don;t need an M1 Max for what I do. Didn’t need it 13 years ago. My point is almost nobody needs to update a computer every 2 years. It’s not the 90s anymore, when performance would literally double every year.
I recommend not installing anything unless you need it, especially window management and customization tools. I like MacOS because it’s simple and clean. Use it for a few weeks, get the hang of it and only then, if you need it, install utilities.
Plus how can we recommend anything if we don’t know what you need and what you like? What a weird request.
It’s not amazing. A computer should easily last 5-6 years, especially at this level. My 2010 iMac still does the same things it did back in 2011 when I bought it. I still earn a living with it doing the same things. My case is a stretch but why fix something that’s not broken?
But Space Black is darker than Space Gray and the screen is 100nits brighter even though the M1 and M2 can be bumped up to 1000 with a simple app!
No one’s surprised that Space Black is very dark. I don’t really like it, Space Gray is the right shade but whatever, it’s just a color, though I wish I could buy a Pro in Starlight.
Role, not roll.
Benchmarks are out. The M3 Pro has basically the same performance as the M2 Pro but more battery life, a different color and 100 more nits, which are software enabled. I would get the M2 Pro and save 350 bucks
I have similar issues going from Android to my Mac. It’s intentional I guess. Crossing the streams is always bad :)
I’ve been using a first gen Magic Mouse for 13 years without issues. Sucks about batteries but it still works great. Comfortable too.
Unless you’re on the bleeding edge of an industry, you never need to upgrade in 3 years, M1 or not.
Why? Touching a key too hard?
