It’s not amazing. A computer should easily last 5-6 years, especially at this level. My 2010 iMac still does the same things it did back in 2011 when I bought it. I still earn a living with it doing the same things. My case is a stretch but why fix something that’s not broken?
I don;t need an M1 Max for what I do. Didn’t need it 13 years ago. My point is almost nobody needs to update a computer every 2 years. It’s not the 90s anymore, when performance would literally double every year.
So many people are looking into the pockets of somebody else. Everyone should spend their money as they want.
And people with M1 pro MacBook can be happy, that even in the third year there are not very huge reasons to upgrade to. Amazing, isn’t it?
