Their last “drive” looked designed to intentionally lose the game. You act like you don’t trust the QB to make any plays, you just want to burn the clock, and then on 3rd and long you heave it down the field.

This was a decent game from Bagent (not screwing up, managing the game). He’s probably about as good right now as the #1 pick in the draft, so hats off to Poles for trading the pick and taking a chance on an undrafted DII walk on.

Hard to have any optimism around Fields, his numbers have tanked and he’s shown no improvement. I don’t know what people expect to happen. He clearly has better physical tools than Bagent but I put them about equal as far as reading the defense and knowing where the men are, and that’s not good considering Bagent only had like 4 games.
