What we found being stable, being running and developed in different flavors since the '88 (hoooooly cow, feels like yesterday…) is IRC.

We dabbed with our own hosted server at irc.gamerstavern.online (port 6697) and I must say that, as simple as it could be, it is still a better system than Matrix.

In addition to that, to help our less-tech-savvy users, we also decided to host TheLounge, a neat client that help simplifying the usage of IRC and allows users to jump in chat with our community (both on IRC and Discord, being the two of them bridged with a self hosted tool), without the need of registering an user.

@RebekahWSD I’ve seen me losing interest in the RPG at the end or halfway more than a few times due to accumulated fatigue (game too long, too hard, too whatever), so might this should be your reason too?

I’m not going to call you anything but I’m colouring myself envious of such commitment!

I remember doing the same when I was a kid (and, I daresay, with far less choices than nowadays) with a few titles, but that’s gone. If I’m playing a game with multiple endings for example, I’ll finish it once (if!) and then I’d look up the various endings upon the internet.

Maybe it’s just a habit thing, maybe not
