That is called insurance fraud.

I am retired. Your 13 Pro would work just fine for somebody like me. During set up, I would have declined Face ID as unneeded so I would never have known.
As stated, Chrome is just what I am used to using. Usually, I am just checking spelling or definitions before posting. OP asked for options and I shared.
I use Chrome, mostly because I am used to it from using Android so long. Safari seems to use Google, too, just adds ads.
I have special ringers for my wife and my Doctor’s clinic. The general ringer for everybody else is silent, vibrate off. The outgoing message says the voice mail is not monitored as I am hearing impaired so sent an email or text. I rarely get a text, and my outgoing message is 32 seconds long so messages from robocalls are usually over before anything is recorded.
I was curious about the highly praised Apple line up. When I had to replace my Samsung, I bought for cash the iPhone 14 Plus and an iPad 10. I didn’t want a contract. They are both just ok for my uses. I bought the then current best of each figured I would learn as I went. The learning curve was surprisingly difficult as I didn’t have any experience with Apple toys. I took them back to where I bought them to get them figured out. There was no charger, and at the store I learned my charging issues were because I was using my old Samsung charger and the iPhone demanded more power. The iPad has replaced my laptop for on line banking, shopping, and Google. The iPhone is carried for voice and text, but not much else. I still have my Samsung phone on WiFi so it is my calendar and alarm plus contacts. At Verizon, transferring the data didn’t copy everything to the iPhone so with everything already on the Samsung, I just use that. .
It depends entirely on how you use the camera feature, in my opinion. I still have the lens I bought decades ago for my film camera, so I bought a digital Cannon camera and I don’t use my phone for pictures. I like my phone having camera abilities in case of an accident so I can take my own damage pictures.
Somebody dumped on you. Retire and give the seller a bad review
I like my iPhone but my Samsung already had all my reoccurring events in the calendar app and specialized alarms, including some I paid for with real money. So my iPhone is for calling and texting, my old Samsung on WiFi is my alarm clock/calendar/contact list. This works as I don’t need any alarms when not at home.
My old devices, Android and Apple are useful for creating alternative accounts for some games. Currently, I have 18 devices with SimCity Buildit loaded. I got bored with that never ending game so most of those devices are just turned off. The old smart phone with just 16GB are still able to call 911, the emergency number is the USA. I was able to donate a few to the women’s shelter so the victims of domestic violence could call the police at least.
Ty for the clarification. Did I get down voted for saying I didn’t know something and was going to research? Or maybe for saying the iPhone was not of much use to me?
Straight talk is month to month. Verizon owns you for three years and you will comply with their rules.
I switched to iPhone 14 Plus in March as it was the then Apple’s flagship. For some things, I still use my android Samsung phone and tablet on WiFi. Can you do something similar?
My hearing aid pairs up beautifully via Bluetooth with my iPhone or I wouldn’t be able to have a conversation. Previously, my phone was mostly for texting. I had never had an Apple toy before March, so the learning curve was tough as the phone had no instructions. You may need to help with the basics, like turning it on and off, adding a contact, using the calendar, etm.
My iPhone 14 Plus looked so fragile, it is clad in a protective case. I don’t remember what color I got.
iPhone 14 Plus bought in March. There were no instructions included at all. Action button? I will have to look it up. From the comments of others, it might be useful. Right now, the iPhone is just one of many devices I use to play a game. It is also used for calls and text, maybe 10 a month. I use my iPad 10, bought at the same time, as a replacement for my laptops main functions of shopping, chrome searches, and banking. My laptops are now for old games from before the micro transaction and scammer apps from the Apple Store.
Depending on how she uses her Samsung, she will have fun. I went from Samsung to iPhone 14 plus has March. Some things I like better on each. My Samsung is still my calendar and contact list, plus my gmail and on WiFi. The iPhone is my voice and text toy.
Make your default ringtone silence with no vibration. Add specific ring tones to those contacts you want to talk with. Let your voicemail sort out the calls to ignore or answer.
The iPhone 14 plus pairs perfectly to my Bluetooth hearing aids. With the app Jango Radio, I can enjoy hours of free music when at events I am not interested in watch but must attend as a good grandpa.
If money is tight? You can get the current decent entry level smart phone, Samsung A14, as a prepaid for $99 or unlocked for $199.
