We both have android but she likes pink stuff and I wasn’t seeing a lot of good options for phones and watches. Today I secretly bought her a pink iPhone 15 plus, pink apple watch 9, and an unfortunately white pair of airpods pro 2. She has no idea they’re coming and I have no idea how she’ll react to being moved to the apple ecosystem. Maybe if she likes it I’ll eventually change over.

She’s coming from a samsung galaxy s20+ and a galaxy watch 4

I hope she likes pink. I have found out (from my wife and other women) that being female does not automatically mean liking pink. For example, how do pink clothing and accessories play a part of her wardrobe?

Depending on how she uses her Samsung, she will have fun. I went from Samsung to iPhone 14 plus has March. Some things I like better on each. My Samsung is still my calendar and contact list, plus my gmail and on WiFi. The iPhone is my voice and text toy.

    Is she a gadget/tech/phone person?

I do a ton of research before I buy anything and this would be an area I would not like to be surprised.

If that is not her, I hope she enjoys it.

Not at all haha, I’ve made pretty much every tech decision and purchase for her in our ten years together

I’m imagining it’ll be an adjustment period where I teach her how to use it, but not worried outside of that. The better battery life and faster processor should win her over.

Don’t downvote me, but I think you need to want to convert if you’re switching to iOS. I use ipadOs and apple silicon macOS but I don’t think I would want to switch to an iPhone from my Samsung.

I personally don’t like icloud, as I like to just put in 1tb of external memory and only just buy the card and not pay to use that service all the time. I also have a 4gig mobile plan. Not beneficial for me, but could be for OP.

If she is not wanting to convert be prepared for no positive reactions for the money your spent. I hope she is thrilled, just be prepared.
