Crazy for the people but way crazier for the buck. Imagine, just walking downtown, chilling, when suddenly a challenger appears and squares up to you. You square up too, not wanting to lose this fantastic section of your territory. You charge to lock horns and prepare to test your muscle strength against this new challenger. Instead of contact and contest, you are portaled through a rain of crystal shards and find yourself suddenly surrounded by noisy humans and a thousand weird smells.That would mess me up and I would need a vacation after that.

What a powerfully subtle piece. I can see Zelda mourning the separation that Link’s artificial slumber has created. It could also be interpreted as a game over screen (Zelda mourning over the actual death of her knight), or the stress that she feels imagining this possibility after feeling the need to ask them to put themselves into mortal peril time and time again. This could be a miniseries. Each episode, Quark takes on a new human cultural challenge and interprets it through Ferengi cultural lenses. Obviously they did this on the show but I can really picture a different side of the character coming out in a completely safe setting like his own personal holosuite. Antics might be especially humorous if his instructor was someone who had a unique perspective on human culture too, as the Doc in Voyager did while trying to help 7/9.
