I saw them on Bluesky and they seem like are a Canadian-based ATProtocol pds focused on 2SLGBTQIA+ folks like me. Haven’t heard anything about a controversy, and nothing obvious pops up when I try to search for something. Could you expand on what sort of things there is controversy about and provide some kind of source? I wouldn’t want to move to them or support them if they are doing something nefarious?

I actually had a hard time with this movie. It was good and I think it deserves the praise, but I struggled with the realistic callousness of the people and institutions that failed and caused the mental breakdown of that Joker. Joaquin did a good job portraying a mental health crisis that comes from abuse and being unable to get treatment.

Whenever I hear that phrase or concerns about “fairness in sports”, I know that person doesn’t see me as deserving of safety, comfort, or autonomy. It’s an overwhelmingly conservative and male position and it’s starting to make me fully dehumanize anyone with that opinion.

Go be concerned about women to your pedophile pastors and child rapist leaders, don’t bring that concern to me.

I agree. Most men have never had their privilege properly challenged. Many have never even recognized they have privilege. I think that feminism, which is more focused on equality and raising women up, makes them feel threatened.
