I really do hope Fields has a decent game, but I have absolutely no hope for a win because I have absolutely no faith in the coaching staff.

I’m calling bullshit on the “testing the QB” storyline. After the second to last drive in the Lions game, it’s clear to me that is just the line they are gonna use as an excuse to trade him, probably for picks because the ownership is focused on money, not winning games.

Then I get to watch this sorry ass excuse for a NFL club ruin another high potential QB draft pick. And this sorry ass excuse for a fan base blame it on the kid.

Fields executed the plays that were called, and executed them well. I guess you could nitpick the 3rd down throw, but that’s gotta be done in the context of the first two downs (and the rest of the game). He balled out yesterday. One of his best games of the season. Execution was on point.

He didn’t have processing issues. He didn’t turn the ball over. He executed the plays that were called. He didn’t super man the shit, no, but he didn’t call teh fucking plays either.

Then on the last two drives, he got handed plays that were just GARBAGE, which he executed, and all of a sudden that’s his fault. Nah. Fields ain’t the problem here. He ain’t The Answer, but he could have been. Maybe. He for sure had potential. If the organization and the coaching staff wasn’t a continuous lineup of fucking jokes, maybe.

He could have been.

You cannot win games in the modern NFL playing old ass conservative football. It’s not possible. And that’s all these two know (if they know that).

Third, I watch the 670 post game discussion this morning and was struck by two recurring themes:

1. This team has a loser’s mentality. They literally do not know how to win a football game. That is a coaching issue.

2. How in the flying fucking ORANGE FUCK are you gonna talk shit, allllll goddamn week, about “We are evaluating Fields for the next five games” then TAKE THE FUCKING BALL out of his hands on the second to last drive of the game. HOW. It’s crunch time, you have put ALL this PUBLIC FUCKING PRESSURE on the QB (who, in his return game, has NAILED IT. Best he’s played all year, fight me), and then YOU TAKE THE BALL AWAY FROM HIM WHEN THE GAME IS ON THE LINE. Literally talking out of their ass. Poles, Flutz and Getzy are the three goddamn stooges, except not fucking funny. Flutz could fuck up a wet fucking dream Getsy would be standing there next to him with a stupid fucking look on his face. Poles has stupid on him by goddamn proximity. Clowns, all of them. Nothing but stupid fucking wigs and big stupid fucking shoes. Flutz and Getzy know they ain’t here next year, and neither of them give a single goddamn fuck about the rest of this season, and Fields have to deal with them TANKING HIS FUCKING CAREER, after THEY PUBLICLY PRESSURED HIM ON HIS PERFORMANCE. I hope that poor kids goes full Cutler. Smoking on the sideline and just being a general dickhead ALL the time. I wouldn’t blame him one damn bit.

Finally. I watched a replay this morning. For 3.5 quarters, the offensive looked NFL average. Yeah. I would even say some hints of above average. That TD pass to CJ was textbook, the o line, Fields, the whole package. It was nice. The defense looked pretty good, but I think that’s more a function of the Lions playing like ass and coughing it up 4 times (and we still lost, FUCK). But for 3.5 quarters, the team looked like an average NFL team. It really says something that AVERAGE had me so fucking giddy.

In conclusion: FUCK! Fucking fuckers fucked a fucking FUUUUUUUCK!

Flus + bears = Musk + Twitter. Both are fuckups, neither understand that they are the problem, neither will ever be held accountable.

You’re assuming the McCaskeys understand enough about football to get embarrassed over something like that.

I submit that they do not. They are only in it for the $$$$. They do not care how the team performs as long as the money keeps coming in.

Here’s a silver lining for ya. All week All we heard out Flus the Fuck was they were going to use the next five games to evaluate Justin Fields. I want to know who the f*** is evaluating him he needs to go. That was the most pitiful excuse for coaching I’ve ever seen. They would have fired his ass from my local high school JV team over that s***.

So, The silver lining: can we stop beating Fields in the head for every loss? CAN WE PLEASE PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD QUIT COUNTING WINS AND LOSSES AS A QUARTERBACK STAT. Cleary this is a coaching issue.

Edit: Fields may have been a decent quarterback. Hell he may have even been a good quarterback. He may have been a decent backup in the NFL. We will never fucking know because of the shit coaching he’s been dealt his entire NFL career.
