Im in the same boat as you, i think the oocoming qb class is really good, so if we take a qb i won’t be upset at all. However, fields has shown promise and progression, so trading down from no.1 and building up this team is also a very exciting way to go (at least for me). Im not saying he is the one, just giving reasons and arguments as to why he could be and maybe deserves another season
The civil part definitely didn’t show up. Personally i like fields and think he is good enough to win games. He has shown promise and progression so i think he could be great with a new coaching staff and another year.
However i also like the qb’s coming out this year, so if we end up drafting one of them i wouldn’t be upset. I get wanting to reset the clock, but then again trading down from no.1 and building up the roster is also really exciting. For me it is 60/40 on keeping fields or drafting a qb
O i got those plenty and then some, very few people actually backing up those statements with good arguments however
