  • My calculations when i was working in a factory came out to about a 97.65% loss on my labor. Every piece i made was sold for $75, took me about a minute to make, and included about 7 other people to sell (oven, paint, quality inspection, forklift to trailer, forklift off trailer, stocker, cashier), 3 more if you include the parts before me (material procurement, forklift to trailer, and the same guy as before to take it off the trailer)

I made easily 90 parts an hour, and was paid $25 an hour regardless of output. I paid 15% on taxes (fed, state, local) because im married and my wife cant work. The quarterly pizza party or $100 bonus was absolutely not worth the cost of my labor.

  • Real answer is that autism leads to self isolation which naturally also leads into tech, and autistic individuals are more likely to come out as trans if they are because theyre already ostracized. Furry communities also highly appeal to autistic individuals because its a literal mask that lets you redesign yourself either online or in person with a fursuit.
