I’m so glad that I was taught how to diagram sentences in middle school because when I see something like this I immediately strip it down to it’s most basic structure. “I am a threat to humans.”

I’m ex-catholic not ex-JW but this is very relatable. It’s so weird when Christians try to re-convince me to worry about the threat of hell I’ve already out grown.

I’d be an obvious act of war. Republicans and most average Americans would feel justified in joining with Russia to rip Ukraine in half in retaliation. Even Europe would be hesitant to defend Ukraine because we had all just seen the Ukrainian president (fatally?) assault the king of america on live television.

However, within the country I think if any national level democratic politician was serious about the threat posed by trump they should use their political position to get access to him and then tackle him and start punching. Obviously they’d go jail. Obviously there’d be a national scandal. But the dude is old a hard fall would kill him. In the long run, it’d do way more good than holding up a “this isn’t normal” index card.

As best as I can remember, I’m on my 6th.

I am still using a flip phone. My new goal is to make it to 2027 marking two decades of rejecting the smartphone era. Each time I consider compromising something gets even more awful about smartphones and I double down on saying no.

This is good to hear but we need to do everything we can to make each attempted deportation difficult. It’s a shame that I don’t know any undocumented immigrants to protect, and neither do you.
