Okkultes Blut im Stuhl ist zwar mega wichtig, aber besser noch ist alle 10 Jahre eine Koloskopie, dann kann man sich Blut im Stuhl sparen. Hoden abtasten schadet zwar nicht, bringt aber auch erstaunlich wenig. Und wenn dann halt wöchentlich ansonsten ist das ehh verschenkte liebesmüh.

As an Simsplayer i would be delighted by a good remaster (sims 5 would also be fine tbh) I still hqvr to restart every 3 ingame hours cause every action will take 50 extra seconds. There are so many performance problems that occur over long game sessions. Plus lack of open neighbourhood is my biggest pet peeve that could be solved with a good remaster. Multiplayer support would be nice but S4MP is already so good working that i do not want ea to ruin that.

Weil der Breitbandausbau unter der Telekom so super funktioniert? Ich würde nicht sagen, dass die privatisierung der Telekom so super gut läuft. Ja day to day ist stabil aber der Infrastruktur part ist dort auch problematisch. Und Mobilfunk ist in Deutschland immernoch ein witz, 5g für viele nur ein Traum, und alles sehr überteuert.

Under promise over deliver, der meiner Meinung nach erste Fehler war die Angabe 5 Minuten. Im Krankenhaus klappt nichts, aber auch gar nichts in 5 Minuten. Es kommt immer etwas dazwischen. Ich würde pro Patient locker 15 Minuten einplanen. Also wenn du mehr als eine Person davor hast locker mal 30 Minuten ansetzen.

Something i have thought about for some time. Do we only have one consciousness? Like if you literally split your brain in half via operation suddenly you got two brain halves tha’t can not communicate with each other in any way. Do you now have 2 personalities and consciousness? If yes, why don’t you have them before? Maybe you always have two but they are just in agreement. And why stop at two? There are some interviews with siamese twins (the teacher sisters for example) and it’s so interesting to see how they talk. They finish each other sentences which is natural i guess but they also say “ehh” when the other one doesn’t know a word. It’s like a single person talking. I am not arguing they are distinctive persons. Just some random thoughts.

Ich gehöre einer Berufsgruppe an die nicht in die Standard Rente einzahlt und obwohl ich es moralisch gesehen total asozial finde bin ich ein klein bisschen froh nicht nutzloser weise in dieses dem untergang geweihte System zahlen zu müssen. Unpopular opinion: Aber die Online Apotheke die per Fragebogen Online Rezepte ausstellen sind ein Problem. Das gibt es auch für z.B. Viagra und auch dort finde ich das kritisch zu bewerten. Anbauvereine haben zumindest ansatzweise die Möglichkeit den Überblick zu behalten, privater Anbau ist zwar ähnlich unreguliert aber zumindest mehr Aufwand. Das die CDU das natürlich maßgeblich mit antreibt ist mit einem schlechten Beigeschmack verbunden. Aber diese Maßnahme isoliert betrachtet finde ich nicht falsch.

Can’t read the whole article due to paywall. Here are 2 thoughts for the half that i did read.

• colorectal cancer makes a lot of sense as a target. it still is one of the most cancers with the highest mortality. At the same time we saw an uptick in colorectal cancer rates in young people (reason unknown, maybe microplastics maybe something else.). Furthemore colorectal cancer seems to be a great target for immunsystem modulating therapy. There was a paper 3 years bake in I think the NEJM where they put 18/18 (exact N not sure) patients in remission with PD-1 modulation which also activates the immun system.

• Astra Zeneca (I believe) is also working on a mRNA vaccine for cancer that is quite far along. They are targeting melanoma in remission and reduced reoccurence of melanoma or metastasis after 3 years by 50%. So it seems like mRNA cancer vaccines will be a strong pillar for future cancer treatements.

Sadly we saw in the past that russia sometimes bolsters their numbers for medication efficency. I hope it is not the case this time but i hope that the phase 2/3 trials will be very transparent to quench any doubts.
