    Aside from the multiple layers of sarcasm and irony here…

    Semites are people purported to be descendants of the biblical Shem, son of Noah. To some degree, this applies to all peoples of Syro-Arabic lineage.

    Of course, DNA tracing shows that all these people groups (including Hebrews) mixed so thoroughly with the people of Canaan that despite various attempts to define races over the centuries, the only distinctions of note are, for the most part, cultural.

    So let’s stop using the term that has no historical or contemporary benefit. Some people are anti-Jewish, some are anti-middle-eastern, and some are anti-Israeli. But the only real difference between the Palestinians and the Jewish Israelis is a few generations of ancestry and their cultural religion.

      Generically, sure. Seems like some highly complex social issues, religion, and hate might have complicated things…
