For those asking for progress I am showing something. I understand we are all tired of this conversation but I want to hear the counter arguments.

Progress but not perfect. I think there is plenty of room to grow and he does have a fumble problem. I also think the scheme would destroy most QBs in the league.

Do I know if he is the guy? No I don’t know. But I am seeing growth.

    If you avoid looking at stats and just watch the games, you can see how misleading stats can be. Sure, Fields made some decent throws Monday night, but 47% of his passes went behind the line of scrimmage. He had a couple bad missed throws, but even worse, he seems to be afraid to take chances or even see the open man. His instinct is to tuck and run instead of going through proper progression of receivers. Too often he is just standing there staring downfield not seeing anyone to pass to.
