This is where I’m at as well, and I would add one additional point:
Nothing is preventing us from using our first-rounders to shore up other weak points on the roster, taking a QB in the mid-rounds, and letting him sit on the bench for a year. This is a deep QB class. If Fields is good in Year 4, we can continue to roll with him through Year 5 and potentially beyond if we choose to extend him. If he’s not (or he gets hurt) we have a rookie who’s already learning the offense and ready to play.
