This dude got so much (unwarranted) hate early in the season, especially after his extension, but he’s done nothing but impress in his fourth year as a safety valve, blocker, and redzone threat.

Definitely one of Poles’ best moves as a GM so far, despite the earlier general consensus that we overspent on him among the fanbase. He could soon make a case for being a top 5 TE in the NFL, and he doesn’t get nearly enough recognition.

Ive always thought he was a pretty fantastic blocker but he really cemented himself as a receiver against Atlanta last season. I was at that game and his one-handed grab was jaw dropping. He doesnt get hurt, he consistently fights for extra yardage and hes only showed improvement since entering the league. Barring something freaky happening, Top 5 is well within reach. Hes the whole package.

The one certainty about Cole Kmet is he will screw up two plays a game by missing a block, running the wrong route or generally flaking out.

Expecting perfection is unrealistic. His mistakes are few and far between. Feel how you want to but when you set unrealistic expectations, prepare to be disappointed.
