I’m curious - why do you pick iPhone compared to other smartphone brands? (Google Pixel, Samsung, OnePlus, etc.)

(I’m also going to be asking in other phone subs, hope this survey goes well)

It’s interesting bc if it were easy, others would’ve done it by now and as good. But OEMs focused on ‘the phone’, the actual physical thing and the software on ‘that’ device. When you look at that alone, there’re other better phones imo.

And that’s where Apple was visionary really. They locked people into the ecosystem that is ‘that good’! It just is, as much as I believe there’re better phones out there - I’ve had them before, it’s a fact that Apple’s ecosystem does things better than others, reason why Samsung ‘got that’ and is trying to do something similar, but it’s that Samsung ‘hit or miss’ thing.

I hear you, though I couldn’t care less about the ecosystem myself.

What I did personally, was test stuff side by side, because Samsung S21U or S22U started feeling way too cheap when it comes to their build.

When testing an iPad Pro and an Tab S8+ or which one was it, as well as my gf’s 13 pro against my s21u and s22u… the differences in quality of anything basically put Samsungs to shame.

        Especially for matching cost.

So I just went 14 pro max, and never looked back. It’s the only device that feels, looks and sounds premium, along with the semi-insane price tag.

While I do miss some of the android flexibility, I just love a good display, speaker and feel in hand, and those are priorities to me, which I didn’t find anywhere else.

And apps on iPhone, and overall the way the phone behaves, look like zero choppiness to me, compared to android flagships.
