I don’t think any game has given us clarity. He’s had a few good games but even then it’s like “okay let’s string it together”. The truth is that most likely the rest of this season will play out how the season has played out so far. A lot of “we still don’t know what to think” games from JF with some moments of brightness and moments of “oh that was terrible.” That’s the way the offense has been called and designed.
At this point, Fields is really going to have to rise up above the offense and hopefully he has it but don’t really know. Chances are we end the season with the feeling we have now. We have no idea if he’s worth picking up the 5th year option or do we pick a QB.
