    For everyone wondering why the main opinion of fields isn’t changing because of one game winning drive:

    The problem is we also have almost 3 seasons of watching him do the same thing and have largely the same problems every single game. Eventually you have to call a spade a spade and make the decision if whatever the flashes he can give you are worth the mediocre play he gives you otherwise. And for a lot of people, it’s not.

    He’s one of the most inconsistent players at a position where consistency is important. That’s been the Bears problem at QB since I started watching in 2005, and largely before that as well. At this point I feel like trying to feel good about that end of game performance, regardless of it ended good for like the first time in his career, is just spinning our wheels as fans like we have for the last 100+ years when talking about the QB play for the bears.

    TLDR: who cares it’s time to move on
