Poles gotta make every prospective HC/OC come up with a mock gameplan to beat the Eagles/Chiefs defense during their interview. Play call sheet and everything.

Take it a step further, make them create a gameplan for Fields, Bagent, Caleb Williams, AND Drake Maye, even Jayden Daniels if he’s in play. Have them come up with a plan to maximize each guy if they’re the starter. Can’t do it? Can’t coach this team, period.

This kind of gameplan ain’t it, man.

What’s the average percentage of screen plays throughout the league? I’m gonna guess less than a fucking third.

Someone posted it on r/NFL last night. The Bears actually aren’t even in the top half when it comes to screen play frequency overall this year.

We ran a lot of screens last night, but we don’t run that many overall.

I like how people automatically assume the OC is an illiterate dumbass that dropped out of elementary school. They basically dedicated their lives to learning strategy in football. Yes, some are better than others but it’s getting ridiculous that everything is blamed on play calling. Why isn’t it ever play execution?

This game was absolutely worse case scenario. Fields proves nothing, win a meaningless game, drop out of another top five pick.

lol beginning of the year I made a joke about the Bears and their history of useless screens, especially the never ending, useless wide receiver screens. And people here didn’t like it…

You have to hide Fields’ inability to be a real NFL QB while also trying to increase his non existent trade value. Hopefully, someone falls for this shit
