I don’t know what to make of the Fields situation.

The guy has great moments and garbage moments every game. He had some really rough moments tonight but also pushed at the end and got us to FG range to win it.

I feel like every game he has both sides like this and I don’t know what to even do. He’s not exactly a bust but he could be WAY better. He isn’t garbage enough to focus more on drafting a top QB but he also has garbage moments that make you think that’d be a good idea still too.

What a mess. We won but that was a horrible game for everyone.

He doesn’t need to be an entire bust to think it’s time to move on.

If we were drafting at, say, 15, with limited QB prospects, I’d say maybe we run him back out next season. But we’ve got draft assets this year, and supposedly an excellent QB class-- we don’t need to wring our hands about it.

We can go ahead and make the change, and be happy we’re in the position to do it. We definitely shouldn’t wait until it’s too late, when we don’t have high draft choices and there’s no QB talent in the draft and we have to pay him big $$, to finally decide we need to move on.
