I was watching the Eagles-Bills game yesterday and Leonard Floyd looked really good, better than his 4 years here.
In fact his best season in Chicago was his rookie year, and even his best season here would be his worst season if you compare it to his 2 years on Rams and his 2 years on the Bills.
He was a first round pick, so it’s not like he was some late round talent that needed time to grow. Also, our coaching was good when he was here, we had Fangio for his entire tenure here except for his last season.
I don’t know enough about the game to explain why he wasn’t good on the Bears, but he has had some very noteworthy success since he left here and it’s been for 2 different teams.
Unfortunate to say that Paces first 3 first round picks for the Bears from 2015-17 didn’t stick at all with the team
Because Bears coaches are notoriously clueless on how to utilize their talent. They want players to fit THEIR scheme and THEIR system, time and time again we see it.
Fangio is the exception he’s the best overall coach that we’ve had in a minute
