I was watching the Eagles-Bills game yesterday and Leonard Floyd looked really good, better than his 4 years here.

In fact his best season in Chicago was his rookie year, and even his best season here would be his worst season if you compare it to his 2 years on Rams and his 2 years on the Bills.

He was a first round pick, so it’s not like he was some late round talent that needed time to grow. Also, our coaching was good when he was here, we had Fangio for his entire tenure here except for his last season.

I don’t know enough about the game to explain why he wasn’t good on the Bears, but he has had some very noteworthy success since he left here and it’s been for 2 different teams.

Unfortunate to say that Paces first 3 first round picks for the Bears from 2015-17 didn’t stick at all with the team

Chicago fans and media have a very big impact on hiring decisions believe it or not. We’re also not really big on giving time to guys to develop. We want our guys to perform as a top player at their position right out of college or we start calling for their heads. Such was the case with Floyd. As you see with time Floyd has developed into a good player. If you look around the league you’ll find all sorts of players that we let go, and that went on to have pretty good careers. It’s a combination of George not knowing wtf is going on and taking influence from all the wrong places mixed with years of shitty hirings and…. A shitty bunch of fans that are tired of seeing their team fight for bottom of the division year after year and screaming at the top of our lungs into get rid of good players because at the end of the day we’re idiots. And George listens cause he’s an idiot to. None of this is true I just started typing and here we are. Have a great day.
