I was watching the Eagles-Bills game yesterday and Leonard Floyd looked really good, better than his 4 years here.

In fact his best season in Chicago was his rookie year, and even his best season here would be his worst season if you compare it to his 2 years on Rams and his 2 years on the Bills.

He was a first round pick, so it’s not like he was some late round talent that needed time to grow. Also, our coaching was good when he was here, we had Fangio for his entire tenure here except for his last season.

I don’t know enough about the game to explain why he wasn’t good on the Bears, but he has had some very noteworthy success since he left here and it’s been for 2 different teams.

Unfortunate to say that Paces first 3 first round picks for the Bears from 2015-17 didn’t stick at all with the team

To me he was always a bit of a project pick who played and developed well even on the Bears with his versatility being the stand out, but when it came time to pay, the single statistical category of sacks prevented the Bears from giving him a contract that would keep him around. Sucked to lose him, but almost impossible to look past the low sack totals for his position at the time.
