After starting the season 1-5, the Broncos have ripped off a five game win streak. Denver’s last five opponents: GB, KC, Buffalo, Minnesota, and Cleveland yesterday. Wilson has thrown 8 TDs and 0 INTs over this streak.

How do you rate Denver through 11 games? They’re currently out of the playoff picture, but there’s a bit of a log jam behind Pittsburgh and Cleveland for the 7th seed. And they have a big game against a fellow 6-5 team at Houston next week.

I’m still very scared of getting hurt… cause it feels like such a thin line where the offense is just good enough without committing turnovers and the defense is impactful enough where it’s creating them… that being said… let’s fuckin ride boys and girls

I’m not surprised Russ would bounce back this year. I don’t think he’s quite as electric as he was in Seattle, but that’s simply a result of him being older. He’s playing sensible football. Maybe not at the expectations of that contract, but it’s not like the Broncos will go bankrupt due to it.

I’m also not surprised he’s bounced back. Last year was such an anomaly. Even in the moment, it was clear that Hackett was awful and set up the team to fail. What kinda surprised me is how Russ’ game has evolved this season. He’s more conservative, quick to take check-downs, and more confident working the middle of the field. It’s as if Payton did a hard reboot and stripped his game down to the very basics.

What’s scary about this Broncos team is that they have managed to rip off five wins against top teams while playing highly restrained offense. As the season goes on, I expect Payton will open up the playbook more, which means opposing defenses will have to adapt on the fly.

lesson #8008374838293 that you should not take anyone seriously when they draw massive conclusions about teams in the first two months of the season

Honestly with the win against the Chiefs I was content to call this season a success (yes I was that desperate to break the streak). I’m starting to believe the wins aren’t flukes, they’re righting the ship and with their upcoming schedule, playoffs really are a possibility. -knocks on wood just in case-

Not only did you get the win against the Chiefs, that game was the first time the Chiefs had been held to a single digit score since the Titans did it on October 24, 2021.

I’m a neutral fan and I started thinking they could start making some noise when they didn’t let the score in the loss to Kansas City get out of hand. They were 1-4 before the first Chiefs game and I thought the Chiefs would steamroll them, but the adjustments they’ve made on defense were starting to pay off. 22 points is the highest score against them since week 6.

Depends on a lot of things, but when you have a new head coach having to unfuck what the previous coach broke it takes longer.

Um the Jets beat the broncos very convincingly so I think that it’s obvious that the previous coach was great.

A great example of this was when the Sam Darnold Panthers started the season with a 3-0 record, only to end up with a 5-12 record at the end of the season.

In September I was wishing this entire team would disappear and I could jump forward to like 2027 when the Broncos would recover from our terrible mistakes, and luckily wishes never come true.

Just as we all predicted after they went 1-5 to start the season. I’d rate them a solid 6 out of 11. They aren’t exciting by any means, but Sean Payton has them playing tough.

As a guy who fucking loves physical football the Broncos are the most fun team to watch in the NFL. Everyone else is playing glorified two hand touch, Broncos remembered they can fucking hit.

I’ve long desired to see the Lions go to and win a Super Bowl so that generations of fans can finally experience that moment. I know how important that first win really is and the emotions I felt back in '97 and just wishing my Dad was there to see it.

And then, after watching Bye Bye Barry last night (the most electrifying RB in history imo) those feelings were multiplied ten fold.

I remember 97. So special. Such a great feeling. Then the Nuggets last year. Probably the last time I ever experience that big of a high as a sports fan. But boy was that worth it.

Hey man to be fair we beat the Packers, Bears, and Vikings for you guys. Even if y’all give us a game we already set it up so overall we did nothing to hurt or help your divisional champ chances.

That’s how I felt about the Bengals, lol. Niners were one of the only teams this year who got them with a fully healthy Burrow.

      Thems the breaks sometimes.
