I predominantly wear my Ultra (and previous Apple watches) as I’ve grown so used to the features and functionality in daily life.

However I do own other watches like quite a few G-shocks and Casio Edifice and I’m sometimes tempted to wear them but usually revert back to my apple watch out of convenience (living in Japan the Apple watch is essential for transit and electronic payments.)

Do you guys ever wear other watches and if so what are they and under what situation would you wear them over your Apple watch?

Over several decades I built a very nice collection of higher end watches which now sit looking at me forlorn for being neglected. But for formal occasions or others where, for me, an analog watch is more appropriate. Otherwise, yes, the AW lives on my wrist.

I use an Apple Watch all day, and a Garmin device (in addition to the Apple Watch) to track all my workouts. Generally I use an Apple Watch as my smartwatch and main health and fitness tracker, and a Garmin device as my main workout and performance tracker. I choose this devices because I think that each one is the best in its category.

I have a Rolex that I wore every day for 15+ years until I got my first AW earlier this year. I wear the AW every day now, but will wear the Rolex to a big meeting, nice restaurant, or a party/function. But my interest in other watches has increased recently, and I expect that I’ll be buying other mechanical watches to mix in the rotation. I also bought quite a few nice bands for the AW to give it different looks and dress it up or down.

I built up an impressive collection of watches over the years (lost count after 35) ranging from fashion watches to quality timepieces and since going AW two years ago have literally never strapped one on. Can’t even give them away.

I have a dress watch my dad left me when he passed. I wear it sometimes on my dominant hand. Always wear the Apple Watch, though.

Yep wear my dj36 every day and wear my AW for exercise and sleep

I don’t need to close my rings like an addict because im already well aware of my body and health and I don’t really like using the Apple Wallet stuff on the watch specifically

I’m that weirdo that wears an Apple Watch on the right, for health tracking, and a regular watch on the left because I like the ‘old fashioned’ mechanics of it. And because they’re a thousand times prettier than that black square on the other wrist.

Sometimes people ask me about it, when I explain it they shrug and go on with their day.

I wear AW every day, but wen I go out hiking, running or MTB I put Apple Watch on charger and take my Suunto with me.

Absolutely! I have 20 some other watches. Everything from Gshock, automatics, manual winds, and my favorite is the Oris Big Crown. Sometimes I wear them on the weekends or other occasions.

No i would not wear a watch if it wasn’t my apple watch because i would have my phone to show me all the crap. I use it for medication reminders and heart rate but it’s handy for texts and sleep tracking

I do, nothing special, a couple of Tissot’s and a Seiko. It would be better if the AW would actually communicate 2 ways with the phone as I still do steps with one of my other watches on and phone in my pocket. I think it’s absolutely rubbish that the steps, distance etc the phone records don’t sync back to the watch.

Never wore a watch before 2019. Only wear the Apple Watch for its health tracking and heart rate alarms.
