I think it simply comes down to Apple deciding that daily charging is okay and putting effort into other features.

I only remember that Double Tap Is a feature when I see a Reddit topic about it. At least 90% of the time, my watch sits on my wrist and I never interact with it.
Rarely. Always forget about it even being a thing. When I remember, it can pull up the “dock” widget that has the three apps I use in it. Haven’t used it for anything else.
An app to let you watch YouTube videos on your watch screen.
Use it all the time myself. I am a very big old school Disney fan.
Personally, I won’t be. My extensive collection consists of 3 bands I purchased on Amazon for $45, total. And I have used them for five years now.
There is no difference based on where you purchase. On my iPhone, the iTunes Store can only be used for purchases and you view your libraries in either TV or Music. The Apps on the AppleTV are a little different though.
I think that is because of branding purposes and offering familiarity to users. It is easier to brand on iTunes instead of TV.
Never wore a watch before 2019. Only wear the Apple Watch for its health tracking and heart rate alarms.
I have mine in a case that also holds an AirTag. Precision finding and it’s a bit more comfortable in my hand.
I have never taken mine into the shower. It would feel weird to me. I usually place it on a charger while I am showering.
Hate the new notification sound. I wish we had more control over it.
Not really anything to get excited about. A faster CPU isn’t going to really improve streaming much. It could enable gaming but that seems like it is premature without any game announcements. Will wait for any official announcement.
My LTE watch is not helping me reduce screen time. I actually never expected it to as it is a screen.
I basically use it as a health tracker and tool to remind me about things like standing up once in a while.
My spouse and I use the app OurGroceries. It has a complication for the watch face. Tap it and we get our shopping lists. Our lists are organized by store like Costco, Target, Supermarket, PetSmart, etc… each list is then organized by category.
I have it turned on and set to “medium.” I have the remote in a case that makes it thicker and heavier in my hand. I find that make it easier to use as well. YMMV
Battery capacity really doesn’t have much to do with battery usage. Just how much the battery can hold compared to when it was new. I used to have a Series 4 with 83% capacity and it would last me 20 hours on WatchOS 10. I upgraded to a Series 9 and gave the 4 to my spouse. It might last them 12 hours but they have a lot more notifications activated on it and use it for Siri extensively.
Your usage, notifications, and background apps installed are what eat your battery. Unfortunately, the watch doesn’t seem to report the apps using the most power like other devices. This means you have to use trial and error to try and reduce usage the most.
Profit Margin. Less packaging cost, more units per shipment, fewer cables to manufacture while prices remain the same or increase.
Probably a pipe dream but my most wanted feature is blood glucose monitoring.
I just use their specific App. I think it works with Next Up in the TV app still. I don’t use that function though.
