Your same lists have Mahomes, Burrows, Tua, and Lamar near the worst in the league. Are you asking us to believe that they are all terrible QB’s?

This is some of the most cherry picked BS I’ve seen on this sub, and that says a lot

A bit of a straw man here, no? The stats are the stats, nobody said anything about being terrible. This binary analysis has been driving me crazy in this sub.

The OP multiple times stated he believes these stats back up his thoughts that Fields is terrible. I’m showing that other QB’s universally acknowledged as great to elite are in similar positions on the list. It’s not a strawman at all, it’s a direct reference to show that these statistics do not draw the conclusion he thinks they do specifically for the reason you’re stating…things are not binary. There’s a lot of nuance to stats like this.

Mahomes and burrow are nowhere near the worst in either of these lists, unless you’re calling the 10th rank “near the worst”.

As for Lamar and Tua, they are each near Fields in one of the two, but not both. Tua is right behind him in 3rd down percentage, but the gap between the two is 35%. Fields is 35% more likely to throw a 3rd down int over the statistically next worse QB.
