What if ninjas are always everywhere but in the 90s they weren’t that sneaky?

Daredevil was a super-popular comic at the time, along with X-Men [featuring Wolverine]

Daredevil fought a ninja army called ‘The Hand,’ and the near-immortal Wolverine was revealed to have studied the ninja arts in his past.

That lead to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who fought The Foot Clan.

Apparently it’s still the 90s in BotW-era Hyrule because I can’t hardly go anywhere without getting ambushed by banana-obsessed ninjas.

When you think about it, the ninja you see has already failed (unless of course there’s a second ninja using the distraction).

Unless you go back to the 80s and those ninjas, then the list is not complete.

Sho Kosugi defined ninja in the 80s

Lee Van Cleef in The Master

    Enter the Ninja

So many good video rentals for friday nights and pizza.

I remember this era it was like if you weren’t a ninja, training to become a ninja, or doing some kind of ninja support work—it was like wtf are you doing? Are you a nonja? A fucken… noneja? Go back to your dojo and try harder.

Also a spoonful of orientalism mixed in there, as my culture likes to do.

      They didn’t attend a Dojo.

      They went to a Dontjo.
