Yet they’re 9 and 1. Hurts has weapons, an OLine, and a defense. No one is ever clamoring for Philly to draft a QB.

He’s 15/9 TD/INT (has 9 rushing TDs but many are the tush push) with 4 fumbles.

Justin Fields has not taken this team to the Super Bowl. Hurts also has some pretty great passing performances under his belt, while Fields has only started to improve his passing numbers this year. Hurts also has a top OL and two top WRs as well as a stacked defense that keeps them in games.

This feels like people on the Broncos sub defending Wilson’s weak play. They keep pointing out how Wilson is just as good as Myhomes this season.

The problem is the coaches. Bears currently have a top 10 ranked offensive line. They have DJ Moore. Cole Kmet is currently the ranked 4th TE. The defense is actually pretty decent. The one thing that keeps getting in the way is coaching. After the first 12 scripted plays where the Bears offense looks good then Getsy takes over and it goes to shit. When we have a lead Eberflus goes ultra conservative and Bears lose. The coaching staff is the actual problem that is holding this team back.

The difference is the Eagles win games. It’s easy to overlook mediocre numbers when you’re still getting results.

I think people are over critical of Fields, this sub especially, but it’s a lot easier to put a QB under a microscope when their team sucks. Fans are frustrated and looking for answers and it’s easy to blame the guy running the show

Hurts under throws Dvonta Smith and he slows down and makes a nasty snag for the longest completion that game, JF throws a dime and our guy slows down and completely whiffs. Tell me how drafting MHJ isnt the best option at this point again…

Dude was playing in pissing rain that severely hampered the passing game for both teams. Also laughable that you try to casually write off the fact that 9 rushing tds have to be added to Hurts’ statline. Guys a proven winner. Makes big plays late in games. The infrastructure and playcalling around Fields is inarguably worse, but he also fails to show up late in games. He’s had over 10 4th qtr comeback opportunities in his career now and has converted 1 of them. ONE!

Please review last years start line forHurts. Once Fields has a season like Hurts season last year, then I’ll start believing. Fields hasn’t shown any ability to take over a game through the air like a franchise QB should.

Thing is hurts has a pretty good resume up to this point. So it’s seen a lot different then a guy who isn’t proven yet but has a bad game.
