Only a matter of time before they start using the phrase ‘final solution’.

I mean it certainly would help if other countries did take in Palestinian refugees and give them resources and support and citizenship. Doesn’t fix the problem but would help.

Wait what’s that? Israel isn’t letting anyone leave Gaza in the first place and so even if you wanted to leave your homeland behind they won’t let you and will bomb the border checkpoints to make sure you don’t leave? Oh.

Oh absolutely, not claiming it’s not. But when a genocide is taking place, is it not good for other countries to offer safety to those who want to flee the genocide? Opening the borders and giving Palestinian refugees safety and resources in other countries doesn’t stop the genocide, but it does keep people alive who otherwise wouldn’t be.

there’s no easy answer. it would be good in that taking refugees in would help save lives, but bad in that it enables ethnic cleansing.

Ah yes, like how last time countries took in Palestinian refugees they were allowed to go back to their country and not turned into permanent refugees.

I wish other countries would take them in away from the massacre, but what’s not being said here is that they won’t be allowed back in, and the people who write these articles and say this garbage know this; they know they’re advocating for ethnic cleansing, or as some morons like to put it, “We’re not advocating for ethnic cleansing, it’s just colonialism”.

Seriously, since when did colonialism get whitewashed? Am I missing something here? I thought everyone (sane) finally agreed it was bad.

They’re not even dangling that as a carrot. They are calling for other countries to resettle Palestinians to build their new lives. Pretty conclusively meaning they can’t go back.
