I truly don’t understand their strategy. You dominate the game for three quarters being aggressive. Then when you just need four minutes to run off the clock you completely do the exact opposite of the thing that was working.

He should. Everyone has been begging Getsy to let Fields run. And here you get it. He ends up settling for FGs on every drive and our offense has to grind out every fucking yard.
Splash plays are how you win football games and Fields is simply incapable of getting the ball downfield consistently.

People are legitimately blaming Fields…it’s astonishing. The coaches made the exact same decisions that a coach attempting to throw a game away would make. If you didn’t know any better you’d think these coaches had money on the game and needed DET to win.
If any “This is on Fields” posts get upvotes this sub is doomed. No one who even remotely understands football should be blaming him. JF and the INTs were the only reason we were even in that game.
