1. Fields + Harrison Jr. and Laiatu Latu

  2. Williams or Maye and Latu

  3. Harrison Jr. and JJ McCarthy + Harbaugh

  4. Another option

I’d be torn between options 2 and 3, personally. I think Harbaugh would restore respectability to the organization and might be enticed by the opportunity to continue coaching McCarthy, who is still really young and moldable. It’s easy to forget the kid isn’t even 21 yet and can still add a lot of mass to his frame. Personally, I’m ready to move on from Fields and start over, too.

I, for one, would love to go one day…let alone one week…without this absurd QB controversy bullshit. Yes, Fields hasn’t shown that he is Mahomes caliber from day one. But the man is fucking amazing. He spent 2 & 1/2 years with a horrible OL. And guess what? He didn’t ball out! Our O Line is looking so much better these days (Tevin FTW!!). Our D is killing it. Can we please stop with this “Draft a QB in the first round” Idiocracy. Justin can, and I believe will, be our franchise QB 1. DJ is a stud, Kmet is balling, Foreman just showed his pedigree with an Angry Run, our secondary is coming back from injuries…for Fuck’s sake, can we stop eating our own for a bit?!? I understand that this fanbase is passionate…but jfc, perspective?

Y’all try and add way too much “context” for fields. We were all here at some point. But seriously if you need a perfect situation every time then you don’t get the benefit of the doubt anymore. He’s got 7 weeks to prove you right or you’ll be rooting for him on the falcons.
